1. How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

I recommend booking at least 6-12 months in advance to secure your date. My calendar fills up quickly, especially during peak wedding season, so the earlier, the better!

2. How do we book you?

Booking is easy! Start by sending an inquiry through my website. We'll chat to make sure I'm  the perfect fit for your day! Once you're ready to move forward, I will send over a contract and invoice for the retainer. Your date is booked and secured after the 25% non-refundable retainer is paid and the contract is signed. The remaining balance is due before your wedding date.

3. WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

I specialize in a blend of traditional photography, offering a classic and timeless approach, ensuring all crucial moments are captured meticulously, with a touch of documentary-style photography, finding beauty in those in-between moments, movement, and the raw emotion found throughout the celebration.

4. How many photos will we receive, and how long does it take to get them?

I don't believe in limiting memories - you'll receive all the best images from your wedding, fully edited and high-resolution. Every wedding is unique, so the final number of images varies based on the day's events but you can expect at least 50-100 photos per hour of coverage.


Turnaround time is typically 4-8 weeks, but during peak wedding season, it may extend up to 12 weeks. I always keep you updated and send sneak peeks within a few days so you have something to enjoy while you wait!

5. should i have a second photographer?

Do you want to have extra shots that include more candids, ceremony angles, or guest photos? Will you be wanting getting ready photos of both parties but will be getting ready in separate locations? Are you wanting to do formal photos during cocktail hour but also want photos of your guests mingling during this time? If you answered yes to these questions I would consider having a second photographer for your wedding.


A second photographer is a great add-on for weddings to capture those moments that might otherwise be missed.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes, absolutely! I love knowing what's most important to you! We will have a planning consultation where we go over your timeline, discuss your must-have shots, plan out family photos, and anything else that's special to you. This ensures that we're all set to capture both the planned and spontaneous moments that make your day unique.

7. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON OUR WEDDING DAY?

I always come prepared! We'll find beautiful indoor spots for portraits or get creative with the weather for some fun, romantic shots. I also carry around a couple clear umbrellas to use as a cute prop.

8. It's been 72 hours and I haven't gotten an email from you

Sometimes my emails get flagged as spam or junk, so before reaching out again, check those folders. To avoid this, you can add my email (aliciasavoyphotography@gmail.com) to your contact list. if you've checked and still haven't received an email, feel free to send me an email directly or direct message me on my Instagram or Facebook. If I don't reply right away, please be patient - I may be with a client or at my other job.

Once a contract is signed and the deposit has been paid, your date is secure and we can start getting into the details of your day. Leading up to your big day, we'll stay in touch to finalize details such as the timeline, specific photos you want, and any special considerations. I'm also here to help with planning tips and advice to ensure everything runs smoothly on the photography front.
